Central Wisconsin Center (CWC) for the Developmentally Disabled is one of three residential facilities operated by the Department of Health and Family Services. The Center has been providing quality service for people with developmental disabilities and complex care needs since 1959.

CWC is located on a large campus covering over 105 acres next to a wild flower prairie. On the grounds are eight residential units and two short-term assessment and treatment units. Over 900 staff members serve the needs of the 320 people residing at the Center.

Directions
CWC is located on the far north side of Madison near Lake Mendota at 317 Knutson Drive. Knutson Drive is off Hwy 113 (Northport Drive) north of Warner Park. The Center is on the Madison public bus route.
